CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

YOUR ROLE :

The Contracts Administrator plays an integral role at Cairo Development. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Legal Compliance and Contract Governance.

Your responsibilities will encompass a range of administrative duties and tasks related to contracts, stakeholder management, and ensuring the seamless flow of operational processes.

This position offers a thrilling opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of our projects, cultivate meaningful relationships with stakeholders, and further develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide administration of the subcontracting process for multiple projects at any given time
  • Create and manage Rental Exemption applications and City Licensing procedures.
  • Assist with collecting and verifying contract support documents, including, but not limited to, WCB, COI, and Licensing compliance for Trade Contractors throughout project lifecycles.
  • Performing office administration tasks and researching as required.
  • Engage with Trade Contractors and Suppliers throughout the contract process.
  • Adapting effectively to changing priorities, ensuring professional and timely meetings of deadlines.
  • Regular collaboration and interaction with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the company in a polished manner while fostering effective stakeholder communication.
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess at least four years of contract administration experience.
  • Construction industry experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with CCDC and similar contracts, Construction Insurance, City Licensing and Rental Exemptions is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, showcasing chart and graph creation expertise.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates an aptitude in research, proofreading and analytical problem-solving.
  • Proficient in multitasking within a dynamic office environment.
  • Detail-oriented, showcasing exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Display professionalism, conscientiousness, proactivity, resourcefulness, and a self-starting attitude.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.
  • Exhibit effective record-keeping skills.
  • Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
