Responsibilities
Partner with sales managers to develop and maintain positive employee relations, and an engaged workforce and to implement new and innovative HR solutionsProvide human resource advice and consultation to retail employees and management on all HR-related mattersEnsure compliance with provincial and federal laws and regulations relating to employment standards, human rights, privacy legislation, and employment equityDrive diversity, wellness, people analytics, and employee engagement initiativesDeliver HR training and sharing of best practicesWork closely with the Director, Human Resources on research, development, and management of the performance review processIdentify and implement process improvement opportunitiesAct as a lead in the continuous development, delivery, and success of the focused training, onboarding, and offboarding processesPerform other related dutiesProfile
Two to three years of generalist experience in human resources managementMinimum of a post-secondary diploma in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development, or related program of study – a Bachelor’s degree strongly preferredli>
Specialized training in employment law, organizational development, employee relations, safety, training, leadership, and proactive employment relations is considered an assetCertification in HR preferredKnowledge of provincial employment laws and practices on a national levelEffective oral and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and coaching skillsHigh level of confidentiality and diplomacyExcellent organizational skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
