ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Eastbrook Elementary School is a dynamic and diverse elementary school serving our local communities and families. We serve approximately 465 students from PreKindergarten to Grade 6 and offer a comprehensive PUF program, Early English Language Learners program, English Language Learner program, and engaging learning programs for Grades Kindergarten to Grade 6. Our staff support students through interventions, tailored programs, and collaboration with Grasslands Division Student Support Services to ensure every student’s needs are met.

Provide a stimulating learning environment and deliver course material so each student experiences growth and develops to their potential.Provide an educational environment based on values of diversity, equality and inclusion.Identify students’ individual and collective learning needs for their age and grade.Plan and deliver approved curriculum instruction in accordance with student learning and special needs.Provide direct support and / or intervention as required to maximize student learning achievement and well‑being.Meet and work with the multi‑disciplinary team of student services professionals to discuss individual student needs and progress.Ensure recommended personalized student resources and supports are implemented precisely to maximize achievement and well‑being.Provide guidance to student support staff so they can understand and respond to individual strengths and needs.Use various assessment tools to evaluate and communicate student progress.Meet with parents or guardians regarding the student’s learning status.Volunteer to supervise extracurricular and after‑school activities.Attend meetings, seminars and in‑service training sessions.Serve as a role model for students.Ideal Candidates : Skills & Abilities
