Job Duties Job Duties Provide administrative and support services to the program head and instructional staff.
Provide administrative and support services to the 20 and 30-level Continuing Education programming.
Provide information and support services to Literacy and Adult Education Students.
Provide program information to the general public and outside agencies.
Liaison with other departments, offices and agencies.
Manage the office, which would include reception duties.
Create and manage student database (would include, but not limited to course scheduling, attendance, accommodations, status, etc.)
Assist students, administrative and academic staff to ensure the program runs smoothly. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
- A recognized office administration / business certificate or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum two years of recent and relevant experience performing administrative and clerical work.
- Training and / or experience in minute-taking and transcribing minutes.
- Training and / or experience at the intermediate level in using common software packages, i.e. MS Office Suite.
- Effective interpersonal skills.

- Effective proofreading skills.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
