The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Financial Advisors and working with other branch personnel in the servicing of our current clients and development of new clients.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude to fill this position. To be successful, they must be professional and attentive, while being accurate, and be willing to go the extra mile for the company and the client, taking pride in one’s work.
More specifically, you will be required to :
- Greet and assist clients and visitors to the branch
- Ensure satisfactory resolution of client inquiries, coordinating responses with other colleagues and departments as necessary
- Responsible for the completion of assigned processing by branch cut-off time, specifically for GIC business and non financial changes
- Maintain Reception, coordinating mail, courier, fax, and email
- Responsible for scheduling client / advisor appointments
- Prepare letters and correspondence using Word and Mail Merge
- Coordinate advisors’ marketing initiatives with implementation and tracking
- Work in conjunction with the Branch Manager and the compliance department to ensure compliance regulations are always followed.

What you bring to the table
- High School Diploma
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience in the Financial Service industry
- Expert proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and / or clients
- Intermediate knowledge of Investments products
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite and solid computer skills
