About this opportunity

We are looking to hire a Associate Sales Operations Manager, on a 12 month contract that will guide the Align efficiency processes and projects that drive the optimization of systems and operational processes that have direct impact on our national sales team.

Working a hybrid schedule from your home and our downtown Toronto office, this role offers a wealth of opportunities to learn in a growing company and expanding market.

The capability and appetite to drive change, demonstrating the ability to influence without authority are critical for this role.

You have the passion to constantly look for improvements and understand the unmet needs of customers in terms of processes, policies, tools, infrastructure and other activities, and build plans of action to execute with counterparts and internal stakeholders.

You must enjoy working cross functionally and building effective, strong relationships with all assigned business partners (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Training, and Business Intelligence / IT teams).

In this role, you will Understand the unmet needs of the different sales groups in terms of processes, policies, tools, infrastructure, and other activities, and building a plan of action to execute with counterparts and stakeholders.

Handle daily administrative tasks in a timely manner to ensure field sales can focus on selling activities. Guide the sales team in resolving issues by connecting them with appropriate contacts and resources, ensuring timely and effective resolution of escalations.

Monitor pending approvals of contracts, exception requests, custom contracts and credits. Provide sales with all necessary data required for contracts to ensure they are accurate and complete.

This role requires the ability to focus and deliver in a rapidly changing environment. Track the progress of approved exception requests and custom contracts to monitor impact.

Address issues related to SFDC and Insight (internal system), providing continuous support to improve internal processes.

Maintain and update the sales content knowledge base, ensuring the team has access to the latest resources and information.

Ensure accurate tracking and reassignment of demo units to TMs. Provide weekly updates on escalations, highlighting key issues and proposed resolutions.

Place quarterly orders for iTero sleeve replenishments, ensuring timely delivery to sales team homes to maintain adequate stock levels.

Offer escalation support to Special Marketing business managers by working with the Align North American dedicated Special Marketing ops support team for DSO.

Ensure appropriate sales tools within SalesForce.com (SFDC) and Insights 360 are adopted and utilized in an effective and efficient manner by the Canadian organization.

Work closely with counterparts across the Americas and within the Sales Operations function to support automation, remove roadblocks and drive efficiencies in the field, while continuously investigating alternative best solutions.

Onboard new TMs, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform effectively. Conduct targeted training sessions to reduce the time TMs spend on credit requests and follow-ups, focusing on best practices and common pitfalls.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and presenting updates to internal teams and departments as needed.

In this role, you’ll need Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.

and SalesForce.com Knowledge of SQL as well as a Salesforce.com certification are considered desirable assets Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Operations or Process Improvement Strong process improvement background must be able to demonstrate ability to problem solve effectively, investigate thoroughly, and improve on processes in place today so that we are more efficient and streamlined.

Ability to deal with ambiguity will need to create scenarios of alternate outcomes and make recommendations about the implications of integration decisions based on limited and imperfect information.

Medical device experience preferred. Solid verbal and written English skills are required. French / English bilingualism would be a definite asset.
