Part-time Professors, Power Engineering Technician/Technology Programs (Winter 2024)

Position Summary

Cambrian College’s School of Engineering Technology requires part-time professors to teach within its Power Engineering programs for the Winter 2024 semester.

Duties and Responsibilities

The individual will teach in the following programs :

• Power Engineering Technician
• Power Engineering Technology

Qualifications

Required :

• Advanced diploma or degree in Power Engieering. (A copy of educational documents and certificates must be submitted with application - education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application).
• Third Class, or higher Operating Engineering Certificate of Qualification
• Five years of relevant work experience within the field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to be an effective role model in the classroom.
• Ability to use creative teaching approaches and current and emerging teaching and learning strategies to enhance
• student progress.
• Possess good organizational skills and sound computer software skills.
• Ability to function within a team environment.

Additional Assets / Preferred :

Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level.

• Third-Class Power Engineering Operator Certificate of Qualification
