Job description6+ years building native Android applications using Java / Kotlin 6+ years experience in application architecture or data design Strong experience with RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Espresso, JUnit, and Jenkins Proven ability to mentor team members and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field 8+ years leading full software development lifecycles Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments Experience working within agile teams and modern development practices
Our client is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to lead architecture, design, and development of high-quality mobile applications. In this role, you’ll be a key technical contributor within an agile team, shaping end‑to‑end solutions while mentoring engineers across multiple levels.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the technical design, architecture, and development of cross-functional, multi-platform mobile systems
- Collaborate closely with a dynamic mobile team throughout the entire SDLC
- Champion engineering best practices—design, build, test, deploy, and support solutions using modern tools and frameworks
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and advise on their applicability
- Mentor Junior, Intermediate, and Senior developers, fostering growth and technical excellence
