Role description
In response to strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our Markham office. The successful candidate will be working with our Land Engineering Team, with both senior and junior staff, with a primary focus on City of Toronto urban development projects.
Being part of a national land engineering practice, there will also be an opportunity to contribute on large scale industrial / commercial, automotive, transportation and municipal infrastructure projects throughout the Country.
Responsibilities include leading project design, coordination, client and municipal liaison and completion of engineering designs and studies. As a Project Engineer, you will contribute significantly to the design, analysis, and execution of civil engineering projects focused on private land development for residential and commercial clients. This role requires a solid understanding of engineering principles and practices, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with both senior engineers and project teams. You will assist in the preparation of engineering plans and specifications, conduct site assessments, and perform detailed calculations to support project objectives. Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability are vital, as this position involves ensuring the accuracy and quality of all deliverables. Project Engineers are encouraged to take the initiative in proposing creative solutions to engineering challenges and to actively participate in team discussions and project planning. Success in this role will be measured by the timely completion of tasks, quality of work, and contributions to overall project success.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
