What will you do?
As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will ensure our inventory is correct and replenished to meet our customer’s needs.
- Ensure that inventory-stocking levels are maintained and sufficient to meet the business needs.
- Work with the Sales team to order parts for sales orders
- Interact with Martin manufacturing facilities for the support of stocking levels and prioritization.
- Responsible for maintaining tool crib, placing purchase orders for consumables like hardware, welding wire, PPE, etc.
- Execute cycle counts on finished goods and raw material, using necessary tools and equipment (Order picker, forklift, pallet jack, or other standard warehouse equipment).
- Adjust systemic inventory counts to align with physical counts to maintain accurate inventory numbers.
- Investigate and identify route causes of inventory discrepancies.
- Develop site-specific procedures for general inventory practices, which align with corporate guidelines.
- Support annual external inventory audit and file all documents.
- Create and review purchase orders for raw material, finished goods, and specialty components.
- Work with engineering to ensure proper items are used in BOM’s.
- Receive weekly stock trucks and adjust inventory locations as required.
- General tasks and other duties as assigned.
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Skills / Experience :
- 1-2 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment and a background in administration.
- Must have good computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP system or Microsoft AX a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English
- Organized, detail-oriented, and strong administrative skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to work in a shop environment
- Able to use and wear personal protective equipment
- Accuracy

- Post-Secondary education in the supply chain, purchasing, inventory an asset
