This role will supportMontreal and its surrounding regions as well as certain areas inEastern Ontario including Ottawa Cornwall andKingston.
Whatis in it foryou :
Salary of $100.000 to $120.000 per year depending onexperience.
Permanent position : onsite employment with required travel in Qu bec andOntario
Fulltime position : 40hours per week.
Flexibleschedules : evenings weekends and availability for oncall / standbyand emergency callouts arerequired.
An allowance and gascard will be provided if using your own vehicle : possessing a validdrivers license is essential.
Comprehensive benefits package : medical dental and vision coveragefrom 80 to 100% available after probationaryperiod.
Vacation : 2 weeks peryear.
Responsibilities :
TheRegional Director will provide guidance and leadership toManagement advising on strategies to help the company achieve itsstrategic goals and objectives while enhancing operatingperformance.
Oversee the efficient and effective daytoday operation of theorganization.
Will be require towork with multiple Clientaccounts.
Identify assess andinform the Executive team of internal and external issues thataffect the organization or its people (clients staff managementetc.
property finances goodwill and image and implement measuresto control risks or resolve theissue.
Ensure that the operationof the organization meets the expectations of itsstakeholders.
Develop andimplement an operational plan which incorporates goals andobjectives that work towards the strategic direction of theorganization.
Monitor thedaytoday delivery of the programs and services of the organizationto maintain or improve quality and ensure that the programs andservices offered by the organization contribute to theorganizations mission and reflect the priorities of theCompany.
Establish a positivehealthy and safe work environment in accordance with allappropriate legislation andregulations.
Implement aperformance management process for all staff which includesmonitoring the performance of staff on an ongoing basis andconducting an annual performancereview.
Coach and mentor staff asappropriate to improveperformance.
Discipline staff andsubcontractors when necessary using appropriate techniques;terminate when necessary using appropriate and legally defensibleprocedures.
Identify and lead newbusiness opportunities oversee the development of fund raisingplans and write funding proposals to increase the funds of theorganization.
Approveexpenditures within the authority delegated by the Executiveteam.
Perform otherresponsibilities as assigned by the President or VicePresident.
Whatyou will need tosucceed :
Bachelors degree in business or a related field is preferred butnot required.
Prior managementexperience in the applicable industry at a senior managementlevel.
Experience in janitorialservices would be a strong asset.
Excellent interpersonal communicationskills.
Strong negotiationskills.
Effective presentationskills.
Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice products including : Excel Word Outlook andPowerPoint.
Detailoriented withexcellent organizational skills.
Analytical skills including demonstrated abilities to reconcilefinancial data and metrics prepare reports and read technicalmanuals are necessary.
Adaptability and willingness to be flexible versatile and tolerantin a changing work environment while maintaining effectiveness andefficiency.
Ability to speaklisten and write in a clear thorough and timely manner usingappropriate and effective communication tools andtechniques.
Bilingual in Englishand French.
Ability to anticipateunderstand and respond to the needs of internal and externalclients to meet or exceed their expectations within theorganizational parameters.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to setgoals resolve problems and make decisions that enhanceorganizational effectiveness.
