Position Overview

This role will be based out of our Kitchener manufacturing facility and will be responsible for quality activities on the Midnight shift (10pm – 6am Sun‑Thurs), in addition to supporting the overall development and maintenance of the site Quality Systems. The successful applicant for this opportunity has knowledge of SQF and / or other GFSI, knowledge of HACCP, is a strong communicator, highly organized, and capable of working independently or in a team environment. This role will also include any ad‑hoc activities required of the Quality Department and may require work on off‑shifts as well.

Responsibilities

• Own site GMP program
• Perform and coach Operators on quality testing
• Maintain Quality and Sanitation Programs (i.e. recipe control, document control, allergen validations, EMP program, swabbing, etc.), complying to all Regulatory, Corporate and Customer requirements
• Lead cross functional Food Safety Team, holding team members responsible for follow‑up and corrective actions
• Administer Hold and Release programs
• Support any on floor Quality / Food Safety incident investigations
• Host daily Food Review, and participate in Daily Production Meeting where required
• Investigate and respond to all critical consumer complaints and provide monthly statistical data
