THE JOB : Manager, Technology Project Management Office
The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range : $108,651 - $135,813
Reporting to the Vice President, Technology & Digital Transformation (CIO), the Manager, Technology Project Management Office is a strong leader with a vision of innovation and excellence in project management and business analysis.
Leading the team responsible for delivering strategic technology initiatives for Doctors of BC, this role oversees the creation and development of project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources and project reports for the technology project portfolio.
The Manager, PMO coordinates with cross discipline teams to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines and schedules, and monitors post project evaluation to identify opportunities that effectively support business outcomes.
With a continuous improvement mindset, the Manager, PMO develops and implements PMO processes and policies with stakeholder input and consideration, collaborating closely with senior leaders across the organization to define, prioritize and develop technology projects and programs.
As a trusted member of the technology leadership team, the Manager, PMO identifies strategic opportunities to effectively deliver technology initiatives.
With a focus on digital transformation and a cloud-first mandate, the Manager, PMO will play a vital role in linking together needs and resources within a multi partnered environment.

WHAT YOU BRING
A university degree and / or a recognized professional designation, in Business or another related field, and at least three years of experience leading a PMO and managing people;
or having an equivalent level of related work experience in-lieu of post-secondary education.
- PMP certification and / or proven Business Analysis expertise is desired.
- Demonstrated leadership excellence that promotes a culture focused on value delivery and outcomes.
- Experience and knowledge of project management and business analysis principles, methodologies, and tools, including a high-level understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and demonstrated ability to provide leadership, guidance, and subject matter expertise in these areas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to be a team player and work collaboratively at all levels of the organization, including building strong relationships to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proven ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in an ambiguous environment; resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
