In this role you actively participate in a wide variety of complex senior debt lending mandates comprised of both bilateral and syndicated transactions headed by senior members the National Client Group lending team.
Your team
As a part of the Ontario National Client Group team, you are part of a dynamic and highly motivated team of about thirty colleagues, and youreport to the Director & Team Lead, Execution, National Client Group. Our team stands out for its excellence in transaction delivery, execution and collaboration with an integrated go‑to‑market strategy. The portfolio consists of a balance of large Canadian private businesses coupled with private equity sponsor‑backed deals across diversified industries (both bilateral and syndicated transactions). Working hours are largely dictated by portfolio demands with occasional non‑standard working hours under a hybrid working model (possibility of working from home up to 3‑days a week).
Our training programs take an experiential approach in which you will collaborate with senior members of the National Client Group deal team and gain hands‑on experience underwriting complex transactions and managing an active portfolio. As you develop your professional skillset and gain valuable transaction and portfolio management experience, several growth opportunities exist – both within the National Client Group team and within the broader Bank.
