Summary

The RCC Operating Technologist is responsible for remotely operating Building Automation Systems (BAS) in BGIS-managed client facilities. You will implement day-to-day operator level control changes, review trend data to support trouble shooting efforts, implement changes for energy and operational optimization initiatives, and coordinate corrective actions for complex issues.

Must be available to work rotational shifts during business hours, be on-call, and be available after hours and weekends to respond to emergencies

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Project Support

• Works with building operators and site managers to identify operational and energy savings in BAS operations.
• Develops recommendations for BAS system changes and implements approved changes which may include working with contractors and BAS vendors for the programming and remote portal development coordination.
• Provide input to Project Teams and / or BAS Vendors on scope and remote portal requirements.
• Performs commissioning inspections to transition projects from installation to an on-going operation.
