At The Fairmont Banff Springs, exceptional service and flavors are the hallmarks of every dining experience. As a F&B Supervisor, your passion for guest service and the pride you take in our menu offerings will ensure that our restaurants are a preferred dining destination and workplace!
Starting Rate : $21.79 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years.
Job Duties Include :
Reporting to the Golf Food & Beverage Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Supervise the Restaurants' team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
- Provide on the floor support / supervision to the team
- Conduct monthly beverage inventory reconciliation
- Maximize revenues by upselling and following budget guidelines
- Handle guest concerns, reacting quickly and professionally
- Balance operational and colleague needs
- Have full knowledge of all menus and promotions
- Ensure colleagues have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods being served in the restaurant
- Follow restaurant & hotel policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications :
Previous Food and Beverage leadership experience preferredPrevious Point of Sale system experience requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredUniversity / College degree in a related discipline preferredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesPrevious experience in a fast paced restaurant settingProserve certifiedAdditional Information
