Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications and Employee Experience, this role is responsible for executing and implementing company-wide internal communications strategies and programs to drive business results and engage all employees.
The incumbent helps implement new communications processes and guides communications at all organizational levels in collaboration with executives, business lines, divisions and functions.
The incumbent creates clear and compelling strategies and messages and finds innovative ways to deliver them that foster a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.
- RESPONSIBILITIESParticipate in the development and implementation of internal communications plans to mobilize employees around the company's key business priorities;
- Plan and organize various events and employee meetings, including all related communications, logistics and coordination;
Design and produce powerful communication tools (presentations, videos, visual Workplace publications, etc.) for a diverse audience in our various plants.
Write and edit various memos, announcements and other documents for internal distribution in English and French;Team up with various departments / plants for internal communications needs, aligning with the employer brand and employee engagement plan.
- Monitors the internal communications calendarProposes and implements initiatives, activities or events aimed at rallying and mobilizing various stakeholders around communications projects or objectives;
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBachelor's degree in communications or related discipline;A minimum of 5 years experience, mainly in internal communications;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English (fully bilingual)Excellent consulting and change management skills;
Strong writing skills and ability to explain complex subjects in plain language;Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to organize and plan work;Ability to see the big picture and take cultural considerations into account when drafting and disseminating messages;
- Enthusiasm, determination, creativity and discernment;Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with confidential informationExcellent interpersonal and relational skills;
ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with different teams in a dynamic environment across various offices across Canada.
