Business Analyst (Intermediate)

Overview:This role focuses on bridging business needs and technology solutions within a complex financial systems environment. The Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders across multiple regions and functions to gather requirements, support system enhancements, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable solutions.

The position involves collaboration with development and support teams globally, contributing to both project delivery and ongoing operational support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT in a multi-application, global environment.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Provide functional and technical expertise to support scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Document system requirements and maintain support documentation (runbooks).
  • Write and analyze complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Design, implement, and automate test scenarios.
  • Work closely with global development teams across multiple regions.
  • Understand and incorporate regulatory requirements into system design and processes.
  • Investigate and resolve functional issues, ensuring proper escalation when required.
  • Support end users across Sales, Trading, and Front, Middle, and Back Office functions.
  • Collaborate with development teams on release planning and deployment activities.
  • Coordinate with global support teams to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Deliver user training and support onboarding of new team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users and stakeholders.

Qualifications:Experience & Education:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

Core Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) across technical and business audiences.
  • Solid understanding of financial products (e.g., structured finance, trade finance)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Team-oriented with a strong client focus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Loan IQ or similar financial systems.
  • Programming or software development experience.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices.
  • Experience working in global or distributed IT environments.
  • Background in financial services (Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Compliance, or Accounting)
  • Prior experience in application support roles.

Language Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).

  • Concevoir, implémenter et automatiser des scénarios de tests.
  • Collaborer avec des équipes de développement réparties à l’international.

Profil recherché

Expérience & Formation:
  • Minimum 3 ans d’expérience en tant qu’analyste d’affaires.
  • Diplôme universitaire en informatique, technologies de l’information, finance ou domaine connexe.

Compétences clés:
  • Maîtrise avancée du SQL.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication (écrite et orale).
  • Bonne connaissance des produits financiers (finance structurée, trade finance, etc.)
  • Solides capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
  • Rigueur et sens de l’organisation.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément.
