Your Responsibilities :
- Manage shift in a production facility
- Follow up on productivity, downtime, delays, and quality KPIs
- Perform quality and safety inspections
- Follow up on training requirements
- Interface with maintenance on routine and non-routine items
- Perform accidents and incidents investigations
- Manage Safety and Quality actions to be implemented
- Report on daily productivity and delays
- Analyze and provide solutions for critical failures
- Interface with ancillary departments (Safety, Quality, Maintenance, etc.)
- Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensure adherence to all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with, and develop staff, managing HR-related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.
Protect the facilities, equipment, and other physical resources assigned to the area from damage, theft, or misuse.
Your Qualifications :
- Relevant technical diploma or degree and previous experience of 3-5 years in an industrial, manufacturing environment required.
- OR +10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical design and drafting, CAD preferable, an asset
- Ability to perform failure analysis and provide solution-based ideas
- Ability to manage and rotate in shift work
- Good knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry an asset
- Intermediate Excel and Office skills
- Safety and Quality minded, detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and analytical skills, and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the company.
Schedule & Working Conditions :
- 12hr rotating shift
- Work is performed in a steel manufacturing mill.
