ASSIGNMENT : Intermediate (Gr 4-5)
FTE : 0.2
LOCATION : Carson Elementary School
EFFECTIVE DATES : Commencing September 1, 2024 until June 30, 2025
Basic Qualifications : A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following :
Training Specialization : Elementary Education with specialization at the intermediate level
Related Teaching Experience : Recent successful experience teaching at the intermediate level
A Reasonable Expectation : based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.

The starting annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109, 520 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
