Precision Castparts Corporation is searching for a Manual Machinist for our Woodbridge, Ontario location.

Position Overview :

• Cut material to required sizes using a vertical / horizontal saw.
• Set-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three-jaw and four jaw chucks, fixtures, tools and attachments
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Experienced using appropriate work holding tools and verifying dimensional requirements of the components being made
• Good working knowledge in using calipers and micrometers
• Clean and maintain equipment in work area

Skills and Experience

• Good mechanical capabilities
• Knowledge of machines and tools
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Milling and lathe experience is required
• Forklift license is an asset
