Job Title : .NET Developer (8–10 Years Experience)

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in both Web and WinForms technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience across the .NET ecosystem, including modern frameworks, UI controls, application performance, and integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain applications using .NET Framework 4.5, .NET Core 6.0+, and ASP.NET technologies.

Implement robust server-side logic using MVC, Web API, and WCF.

Design and develop applications using WinForms with DevExpress and other 3rd‑party UI controls.

Work within Agile and DevOps environments to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.

Utilize Entity Framework and LINQ for data access and business logic implementation.

Perform application profiling, performance tuning, exception handling, and logging.

Integrate applications with external systems and ensure smooth data exchange.

Follow secure coding standards and enforce best practices for product and code quality.

Collaborate effectively with onsite teams and customers, demonstrating strong communication skills.

Support Copilot App Migration Agent and Google Code Assist activities as part of modernization initiatives.

Contribute to CI / CD pipelines, unit testing, and source control using GitHub or TFS.

Essential Skills :

Strong expertise in .NET Web and WinForms development.

Proficient in ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core 6.0+, Web API, VB.NET, and server-side coding.

Experience with DevExpress and other UI component libraries for WinForms.

Hands-on proficiency in Blazor, WCF, and modern Web API frameworks.

Solid understanding of Agile methodology and DevOps practices.

Strong application performance optimization and debugging skills.

Expertise in Entity Framework, LINQ, and secure coding practices.

Experience in scalability, security, monitoring, and performance improvements.

Familiarity with lifecycle tools, CI / CD, unit testing, and SCM systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with application modernization and cloud-readiness practices.

Requirements

Experience (Years) : 4-6 Essential Skills :

• Work with project teams throughout the organization to design, implement, and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai, to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes.

• Be a part of a 24 / 7 / 365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation).
• Directly support line of business development teams, provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications
• Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats.
• Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices.
• Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on delivery related activities and strategy. Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. OR similar work experience.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP / HTTPS, DNS, TCP / IP).
• Proven experience as a CDN Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
• In-depth knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies, including caching, load balancing, and content optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience supporting 24 / 7 / 365 customer facing applications at enterprise scale.
• Awareness and experience with cybersecurity tools and practices, such as firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, and encryption.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash) a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus but not required.
