Product Manager
A distinguished global supplier specializing in manufacturing safety-critical components for diverse automotive systems is currently seeking a Product Manager.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the company's electrification strategies, leveraging technical expertise and market trends to drive sales of electrified products.
With a primary focus on the North American market and engagement with all OEMs, you'll play a crucial role in defining and promoting the company's presence in the hybrid and battery electric vehicle sectors.
Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development & Engineering, you'll be pivotal in transforming electrification strategies into successful, commercialized products.
Responsibilities :
- Collaboratively engage with the sales teams to analyze and map out OEMs’ electrification strategies in North America.
- Promote electrified products to customers across the North American market and beyond.
- Drive strategic initiatives to gather and interpret market intelligence, providing actionable insights for sales and product strategy development.
- Conduct in-depth market research in the electrification sector, offering insights into customer preferences, competitor actions, and industry trends.
- Analyze market potential for current and potential product lines, making informed recommendations on investments and market positioning.
- Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, and R&D teams to support business acquisition strategies and align product development with market needs.
- Track and assess global market opportunities, including customer insights and major issues, to refine business strategies and decision-making.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves in line with industry dynamics.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) :
- Achieve targeted sales growth and increase market share in the North American electrification sector.
- Identify and capitalize on global market opportunities, resulting in new customer acquisition and expanded market presence.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, R&D, purchasing, and manufacturing teams leading to successful product launches and alignment with market needs.
- Attain positive ROI on electrified product line investments.
