Marketing Coordinator

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually

In this hands‑on role, you will build your marketing skills and knowledge with one of Canada’s most recognised and award‑winning quick‑service marketing teams. The role of Marketing Coordinator is a critical role to our marketing team, supporting the company vision to deliver profit, innovation and experience/engagement across our B2B and B2C initiatives. Pizza Pizza is looking for a vibrant, creative and hungry individual looking to learn and grow across different pillars of the brand marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Content Development: Co‑lead the research, curation, copywriting, and content rollout across Pizza Pizza’s social and owned channels.
• Internal Communication: Lead the creation and distribution of clear, timely communications on marketing initiatives to internal stakeholders.
• Project Management: Assist the marketing team with projects, including grand openings, local store marketing, localised media channels and other initiatives on the marketing calendar.
• School Lunch Program: Lead and develop growth opportunities for this critical, long‑rooted program, ensuring its continued role as an integral driver of sales and business expansion.
• Performance Reporting: Support in the development of reporting on campaign performance, promotional sales and other applicable programmes to internal and external teams.
• Flyer Program Execution: Assist with the national flyer program, including communication and proofreading of regional versions.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Build cross‑functional relationships, particularly with Operations and IT teams, to ensure gold standard execution of all programmes.
• Agency Collaboration: Support in working with PR and media agencies on campaign planning and execution, including managing the delivery of assets, coordinating influencer briefs and content needs.

Your Requirements

• 1+ years experience in a marketing role
• Understanding of marketing fundamentals, including paid/owned/earned channels, and brand guidelines.
• Familiarity with creative production processes and comfort managing creative assets and brand consistency.
• Basic project management skills, with preference given to those with experience managing marketing and advertising related projects (e.g. print, digital, POS, etc.)
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, English/French bilingual is an asset
• Effectively handles a fast‑paced environment with frequently changing needs and requests
• Self‑starter with ability to work autonomously and proactively to uncover opportunities to move the business forward
• Strong collaborator: seamlessly managing up and across teams to ensure buy‑in, awareness of activity, and integration
• A team player: works respectfully, inclusively, and positively
