Control Testing Specialist

Job Description

We are hiring Control Testing Specialists to join our Monitoring and Testing team. This team ensures the effectiveness of controls across corporate banking, capital markets, wealth, and private banking.

Responsibilities:

•Develop comprehensive test plans outlining scope, objectives, methodology, and success criteria.

• Conduct control tests to evaluate design and operating effectiveness of key controls.

• Analyze risks associated with operational processes, identifying vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

• Maintain accurate documentation of testing processes, results, and deficiencies.

• Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations for management and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with risk management, compliance, and internal audit teams to share insights and coordinate efforts.

• Ensure operations align with applicable regulations and support remediation of control deficiencies.

• Implement corrective actions and preventive measures with business units.

• Continuously monitor control effectiveness and report on operational risk and resiliency.

• Support internal and external audit processes with documentation and insights.

• Provide training and awareness programs to enhance understanding of controls and risk management.

Must-Haves:

• 5–10 years of experience in control testing or risk/compliance roles.

• Banking experience required; capital markets highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of sampling and population development for testing.
