Our Vancouver branch is looking for a new Credit Risk Supervisor to join our Finance team.

Your Role

Our Credit Risk Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the analysts assigned under the portfolio.

They will evaluate credit requests through research and analysis and make recommendations in a timely manner. They will have daily contact with other departments within the organization and customers, exhibiting the ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis using ratio and trend analysis techniques to evaluate liquidity and solvency
  • Prepare and present business cases to finance management, aligning with growth objectives
  • Manage credit granting and account opening processes
  • Monitor and control credit limit excess for relevant Kuehne+Nagel companies
  • Collaborate with collection managers, legal counsel, controllers, and sales teams
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintain team enthusiasm, and offer coaching and mentorship to your team members

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Master of Business Administration with a focus in Finance or Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 3+ years experience as a credit risk supervisor including financial statement analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise appropriate analytical and judgement skills when dealing with moderately complex procedures and situations when dealing with customers
  • Strong Financial Statement Analysis skills

The target salary range for this position is between $46,818 and $70,228. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement.

Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
