Our client is looking for a Citrix architect on a contract basis, with option to convert fulltime permanent.
Location : Hybrid - North York.
Responsibilities :
- Design and architect Citrix solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
- Oversee the implementation and configuration of Citrix environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix ADC (formerly NetScaler).
- Ensure the high availability and reliability of Citrix systems and applications.
- Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments to support business growth.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions with other enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Citrix infrastructure and applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Citrix environments.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Requirements :
- 8+ years experience as a Citrix Architect or Senior Citrix Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix ADC, Citrix Cloud, and Citrix Workspace.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Proficient in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications, such as Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) or Citrix Certified Expert (CCE), are highly desirable.
