We are looking for a candidate who is a quick learner that does not shy away from a challenge. In addition, we hope that this candidate also exhibits the following :
- Ability to communicate effectively and quickly build positive relationships not only internally, but also externally to customers and vendors
- Proactive in identifying potential issues and developing solutions
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks based on importance with the understanding of lead times on receiving information from other parties
- Highly detail oriented
- Previous experience working in the accounting functions of Microsoft Dynamics / NAV
THE ROLE
Accounts Receivable
- Entering remittances
- Entering customer credits
- Ensuring accounts are paid and up to date
Accounts Payable
- Entering bills from vendors in MS Dynamics / NAV accounting system
- Planning weekly payment run
- Reconciling accounts and ensuring all bills are entered
Requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Work experience with MS Dynamics / NAV desktop is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Basic mathematical / accounting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bookkeeping and office experience a must
