Responsibilities
What would a typical day as a welder?
- Layout, fit, and fabricate metal using TIG welding techniques
- Assist with operation of other machine shop equipment (e.g. roller, brake press, shear)
- Use precision measuring devices to perform quality control tests
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Work in safe-manner, abiding by all health and safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience in a TIG welding environment
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong math and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Must possess a high school diploma
