AI-Native Product & Automation Builder

Type: Full-Time

About Us:

At WellnessLiving, we empower health and wellness business owners to turn their passion into thriving businesses. Our mission-critical software supports thousands of entrepreneurs and millions of clients worldwide on their wellness journeys. We’re a customer-first company that values excellence, accountability, and adaptability, and we’re looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a meaningful impact in the wellness industry.

Our culture is guided by four core values that shape how we work and grow together:

Customer First – We approach every challenge with a deep commitment to our customers’ success and happiness.

Excellence – We hold ourselves to a high standard and strive for exceptional execution in everything we do.

Accountability – We take ownership of our decisions, actions, and results.

Adaptability – We embrace change, stay flexible, and continuously evolve in a dynamic world.

If these values resonate with you and you meet the qualifications for this role, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role:
We’re hiring a new class of builder: the Forward-Deployed AI Engineer.

This is not a traditional software engineering role. We’re looking for highly adaptable, AI-native operators who can rapidly ship production-grade workflows, automate business operations, deploy customer-facing AI solutions, and accelerate product delivery using modern AI tooling.

You’ll work across engineering, operations, product, and customer workflows to identify bottlenecks and deploy practical AI systems that create measurable business outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows, copilots, automations, and agentic systems.
  • Rapidly prototype and ship internal and customer-facing AI solutions.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand operational bottlenecks and automate workflows.
  • Use modern AI tooling to accelerate development velocity and feature delivery.
  • Configure and orchestrate LLM-driven systems using APIs, agents, MCPs, databases, and automation frameworks.
  • Reduce operational load by replacing repetitive manual processes with AI-native systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, customer success, and engineering teams.
  • Operate with high autonomy and ownership in fast-moving environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2–3 years of experience in software development, automation, technical operations, or AI-enabled product work.
  • Basic-to-intermediate coding ability (Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar).
  • Familiarity with AI development tools and modern LLM ecosystems.
  • Experience with APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on exposure to tools/platforms such as Claude, Codex, MCP, AWS, and AI copilots.
  • Strong builder mentality and ability to move quickly with ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • High ownership, curiosity, and enthusiasm for AI.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building automations or agentic workflows.
  • Experience deploying customer-facing AI solutions.
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience.
  • Familiarity with vector databases, RAG systems, or orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience working with operational teams or customers directly.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Deploy production AI workflows that meaningfully reduce operational overhead.
  • Accelerate feature delivery across internal teams.
  • Improve customer workflows through AI automation and intelligent tooling.
  • Launch high-impact AI initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
  • Help define how AI-native work gets done across the organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

You are highly curious, fast-moving, practical, AI-native, and outcome-oriented. You enjoy experimenting with emerging AI tools, workflows, agents, and automation systems. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and focused on delivering operational leverage quickly and responsibly.

Why This Role Exists:

We believe the next generation of high-performing organizations will be built by small teams empowered by AI-native operators.

The Forward-Deployed AI Engineer is a force multiplier role designed to compress execution timelines, automate operational complexity, accelerate product delivery, and unlock organizational scale through AI systems.

Please note that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

We appreciate you taking the time and look forward to reviewing your application!
