On behalf of a distinguished land developer and builder dedicated to creating communities throughout Ontario Adams Limitless is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Planning & Development Manager . This role offers the chance to lead the development of masterplanned communities that incorporate homes for every phase of life contributing to a company that prides itself on designing spaces for individuals to call home.

About the Role

As the Planning & Development Manager you will oversee all aspects of land and planning activities for lowrise residential development projects across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). You will play a pivotal role in steering projects through critical milestones collaborating with municipalities consultants and crossfunctional teams to bring visions to life.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead development projects from initial subdivision approvals to building permits and final registration.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with municipalities approval bodies and consultants.
  • Manage submissions and coordinate application processes including Official Plan Amendments (OPA) Zoning Bylaw Amendments (ZBA) Site Plan Approvals (SPA) and building permits.
  • Conduct research to streamline project timelines and resolve challenges.
  • Attend and coordinate community meetings land owner groups to represent and support development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience : 5 8 years in residential subdivision development with handson experience in a developer / builder environment.
  • Education : A background in urban planning or architecture is strongly preferred.
  • Skills :

    Proven ability to lead and motivate teams through complex largescale projects.

  • Strong negotiation mediation and strategic thinking skills.
  • Broad knowledge of fiscal management information technology and planning processes.
  • Exceptional written verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Focus Areas : Expertise in infill and mixeduse projects is a strong asset.
