Job Description
- Develop and customize Health Cloud objects, components, and integrations to support patient management and outcomes tracking, adhering to healthcare standards and privacy requirements
- Design and implement data-driven solutions, ensuring integrity, security, and compliance with PHIPA, PIPEDA, and provincial privacy regulations
- Lead technical design reviews, conduct peer code reviews, and mentor junior developers to maintain best practices and coding standards
- Participate in Agile delivery, automate business processes, and support CI / CD pipelines using Salesforce DX and related tools
- Provide Tier 2 production support, troubleshoot issues, and stay current with Salesforce releases and health tech trends to propose innovative solutions
Qualifications
3+ years of hands on development on the Salesforce Platform (Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce).Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent professional experienceSalesforce Platform Developer I (required). Platform Developer II, Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional, or MuleSoft Certified Developer are highly desirableDirect experience building solutions on Salesforce Health Cloud (patient, care plan, provider, household objects)Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST / SOAP APIs; exposure to MuleSoft or similar middleware; familiarity with HL7 / FHIR is a strong plusStrong understanding of data modeling, sharing rules, OWD, field level security, and Canadian health privacy regulations (PHIPA, PIPEDA)Proficient with Salesforce DX, VS Code, Git, and CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)Experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments; comfortable writing user stories and acceptance criteriaPrior experience in the home health, home care, or broader healthcare services sectorKnowledge of Azure or AWS services and serverless architecturesExperience with Experience Cloud / Communities for patient or caregiver portalsExposure to data migration tools (Data Loader, Jitterbit, Informatica)Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and patient centred UX designJob Details
