Part-time : Computer Science
Period 1 : 1 : 00 pm to 3 : 45 pm. (Monday to Friday)
Term 3 : Feb 2 -Apr 13, 2026 (with the possibility of extension)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparation of daily lesson plans, course outlines, and unit plans; preparation and presentation of classes, labs, and fieldwork;
- Support and supervision of students; preparation and correction of examinations;
- Tracking attendance, assigning homework, grading assignments, giving feedback, and communicating effectively with students at all levels;
- Participation in departmental meetings and required professional activities and deadlines;
- Ongoing Assessment and Evaluation according to Growing Success;
- Regular classroom duty;
- Extra-curricular participation, willing to run a club or participate in student activities a couple of hours per week.
Requirements & Qualifications
Energetic, patient, and an expert at communicating with international students;Self-motivated and organized;Effective teamwork skills;Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required.Professional with attention to detail.Apt in technical skills with educational software to deliver classes smoothly and creativelyEducation and experience
Bachelor's degree in Education, computer science, or related field;OCT certified (or eligible to become OCT);Experience working in a secondary school setting;TESL or ESL AQ certification is an asset.Working with an LMS like CANVAS / Brightspace.Familiar with Markbook, PowerSchool, Canvas, Google Classroom, Myblueprint, and Turnitin.Benefits

$50.00 – $65.00 per instructional hourCompensation is structured on a per-course contract basis , with total instructional hours defined by the academic timetable.
The final rate within this range will be determined based on qualifications, certifications (e.g., OCT), and relevant teaching experience .Braemar College may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the drafting and administration of job postings.
