Role : Senior QA Engineer
Required Experience : 6-8 Years

Technical Skills : Mandatory Skills :
- Strong experience in manual testing of web and desktop applications.
- Expertise in test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience in functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Strong test planning, execution, and defect tracking skills.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Ability to identify high-risk areas and ensure maximum defect detection.
Preferred Skills :
Experience in SQL queries for backend validation.
API testing using Postman or similar tools.Hybrid experience in manual + automation is preferred.Understanding of basic automation concepts for future scalability.Knowledge of CI / CD processes and DevOps tools is a plus.Managerial & Behavioural Skills :
Strong analytical mindset to detect system vulnerabilities and critical defects.Ability to think beyond positive flows and break the system with negative scenarios.Proactive approach in identifying edge cases and improving test coverage.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.Adaptability to fast-paced development cycles and evolving business needs.Roles And Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases based on functional and business requirements.Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.Perform root cause analysis and suggest improvements in testing processes.Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to validate application behavior.Ensure compliance with testing best practices and continuous improvement.Contribute to a process and data-driven approach for defect analysis and reporting.Provide valuable insights to enhance product stability and user experience.
