Technical Skills:

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in manual testing of web and desktop applications.
• Expertise in test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience in functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Strong test planning, execution, and defect tracking skills.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Ability to identify high-risk areas and ensure maximum defect detection.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in SQL queries for backend validation.

• API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Hybrid experience in manual + automation is preferred.
• Understanding of basic automation concepts for future scalability.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps tools is a plus.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases based on functional and business requirements.
• Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
• Perform root cause analysis and suggest improvements in testing processes.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to validate application behavior.
• Ensure compliance with testing best practices and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to a process and data-driven approach for defect analysis and reporting.
• Provide valuable insights to enhance product stability and user experience.
