Backend Engineer

Contract

Canada / US remote

Rate : 75- 80 USD per hr ( DOE )

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services .
• Develop APIs and systems that handle millions of requests daily, ensuring low latency and high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and data scientists, to deliver impactful features.
• Optimize system performance and scalability to support our growing user base.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring timely resolutions and system reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Work with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and propose innovative solutions for improving our platform.
