Duration : 1 Year assignment (contract)

Client Location : Toronto ( Onsite : 7.25 hours / day between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Engagement Model : Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite , requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking the services of an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications and APIs. The role involves translating technical specifications into tested applications, supporting integration, and troubleshooting in a dynamic environment.

Scope

The Senior Software Developer will :

• Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications.
• Develop detailed programming specifications, write / generate code, and conduct unit tests.
• Design and develop REST API platforms (e.g., Apigee / APIM) and convert web services between SOAP and REST.
• Analyze, design, develop, and implement programs in multiple programming languages for web and rich internet applications.
