Are you passionate about biomedical research and ready to contribute to groundbreaking discoveries in the field? We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Biomedical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team at the Biologic Pharmamedical Research Inc.

As a key member of our research unit, you will play a vital role in advancing our research objectives in drug target activity and elucidating the sub-cellular activity of nutraceutical compounds and botanical agents.

Your work will directly impact the development of new biomedical solutions that improve human health and well-being.

Minimum Education Requirement :

Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in executing experimental work in a biomedical laboratory setting; prolific with broad experience with molecular biology research techniques such as : Western Blots, antibody binding assays, cell culture, etc
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage laboratory inventory effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present research findings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with clinical research protocols and Health Canada regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities :

  • Execute experimental work based on predefined protocols, and design new experiments in collaboration with team members to validate drug target activity and investigate the sub-cellular activity of nutraceutical compounds.
  • Independently manage and maintain laboratory inventory, including consumables and glassware, while maintaining accurate and auditable records.
  • Analyze data and draw conclusions to navigate research directions. You will collaborate with Franco Cavaleri, the CEO and Biomedical Researcher : Experimental Medicine / Disease Pathology to collectively steer the research direction.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Franco and the team to review research results, discuss next steps, and align research direction.
  • Process and calculate data to determine significance and plan subsequent experimental steps.
  • Prepare and present research data to the team and external stakeholders when required.
  • Choose appropriate experimental methodologies, either independently or through collaborative efforts with the team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of our Biologic initiatives and results, both within our building and to external parties.
  • Contribute to the development of manuscripts, including writing, editing, and managing editorial processes. Interact with editors to ensure successful manuscript submissions.
  • Assist in navigating clinical research approvals with Health Canada.
  • Acquire knowledge of Quality Control principles and contribute to documentation related to finished product (consumer) QC.
  • Align scientific principles with general business directives to support the overall success of the company.
  • Collaborate effectively with research colleagues, especially when additional researchers join the team.
