GameStop has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist in our Store Support Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of related experience in human resources.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys collaborating with various teams to positively impact the business and employee experience.
A large portion of the role involves coaching, counselling, and assisting leaders to manage performance opportunities and support employee and organizational goals.
You will also be involved in the recruitment process for Field Manager and Store Support Centre positions. To ensure compliance with provincial requirements, you will remain informed about minimum wage changes, conduct analysis, and make recommendations.
To support leaders in developing their team members, you will partner with the Field and Store Support Centre on any training needs.
Your ability to partner and collaborate will allow you to maintain and update various policies and programs and provide guidance on them when needed.
Excellent time management amid changing priorities is a must as well as strong verbal / written communication and relationship building skills.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills combined with a continuous improvement mindset are essential as well.
