Company : Groupe Compass Quebec ltée (Compass Group North America), a global foodservice and support services company.

Location : Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Salary : CA$65,000.00–CA$80,000.00 (approximate).

Compass Digital is the technology arm of Compass Group North America, creating technology products and services across North America. The Digital Core Product Engineering team develops food ordering apps, operator management and kitchen display systems.

Job Summary

The Flutter Developer (Checkout) will join a small, entrepreneurial team in building the next generation checkout experience for Compass Digital. This system is currently in pilot stage and is poised for rapid growth. The team operates like a startup with fast-paced development and the opportunity to shape a product with massive impact.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead implementation of standards and cutting‑edge practices to ensure top‑notch code quality and comprehensive test coverage.
• Prioritize performance, usability, and accessibility to craft an exceptional user experience.
• Balance user satisfaction with developer needs, ensuring both are given equal importance.
• Work flexibly across various layers of the tech stack, broadening your skill set or specializing as you see fit.
• Make scalability and reliability central to every decision.

• Cultivate leadership skills within your team as you manage Flutter development for Android and iOS platforms.
• Guide the software development lifecycle from conception and design to rigorous testing.

• Rigorously test your code through unit tests to ensure robustness, covering edge cases, usability, and overall reliability.
