We are supporting one of our customers in the manufacturing sector, located in the west island, in their search for a buyer of chemical products.
Responsibilities :
- Secondary liaison with all suppliers (negotiations, orders, problems, etc.);
- Analysis of procurement costs for the company's projects;
- Management of incoming and outgoing traffic;
- Documentation import / export;
- Verify expense invoices;
- Any other project requested by his superiors.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in chemical purchasing and international logistics;
- Professional experience in the chemical industry and knowledge of chemistry would be an asset;
- Negotiation and communication skills;
- Fluently bilingual in French and English;
- Organizational and delegation skills with attention to detail;
- Excellent knowledge of procurement and adherence to critical deadlines;
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks;
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel & Word);
- Knowledge of Sage 300 is an asset;
- Resourceful;
- Computer knowledge an asset
The use of English is required for the following reasons :
- Communication with international customers
- Collaboration with English-speaking partners
- Drafting documents in English
PROCESS : Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
