Equipment Administrator

Reporting to the Fleet Director, the Equipment Administrator is a 13-month contract role that will provide clerical and administrative support to our Fleet team.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Electronic scanning, uploading, receiving and vouchering invoices.
- Maintain necessary equipment lists.
- Order and maintain fuel card inventory.
- Run monthly reports (407, fuel, Equipment, etc.).
- Close work orders.
- Coordinate with shop supervisor with regards to equipment repairs.
- Update list of employee onboards / offboards.
- Daily timesheet entry for shop employees (cover for current employee when necessary).
- Document and ensure continuous process improvements are applied within area of responsibility.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements :
- Post-secondary diploma or degree.
- JD Edwards enterprise software experience is an asset.
- Strong administrative and clerical data entry background.
- Basic understanding of heavy equipment and the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency with Excel to manipulate data and produce various reports as needed.
- Familiarity with and ability to use GPS tracking solutions software.
- Collaborative problem solving and analytical skills.
- Confident, polished, self-motivated, and has a sharp personality.
- Able to diplomatically deal with internal and external clients.
- Results-driven with focus on delivering success in a fast- paced environment.
- Outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
- Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges .
