Overview

Location : Toronto. Hybrid (1 day / week on Wednesday; may change to more days in future). Contract Duration : ASAP – 02 / 13 / 2026. Extension : Possible. FTE : Possible. Number of Positions : 2. Schedule Hours : 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hrs per week.

Story Behind the Need

Business group : The CRM Global Technology Applications team supporting Global Banking & Markets Wholesale clients.

Project : We are embarking on a Salesforce project to digitize and integrate systems along the Client Lifecycle for wholesale banking. You will be responsible for working with consultants and business stakeholders to design and build the workflow and system integrations required. You will remove barriers throughout the project enabling the development and deployment of quality solutions that meet these requirements.

Typical Day in Role / Responsibilities

The team is looking for an experienced Salesforce developer that is well versed in all facets of the Financial Services Cloud, acting as a major contributor for solutions, workflows, data models and leveraging best practices to design, test, implement and support the solution.

Must be comfortable working in an org with complex sharing rules and working with vendors to support managed packages.

Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.

Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills

10+ years software development with 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and deployment. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and SoQL, and understanding of SFDC and ability to implement applications across the Salesforce environments such as Force.com.

Completed at least 2 large scale integration projects using Salesforce.

Recent experience with Lightning development, LWC Framework, Batch Processing, Process Builder, SFDC Web Services & APIs, Test Coverage Classes and custom objects.

3+ years’ experience working with SOA.

Experience with agile teams – understanding the mindset of working in an agile environment is very important.

Nice-To-Have Skills

Experience in the capacity as a lead developer.

You have in-depth knowledge of SOAP and RESTful integrations.

Capital markets and global banking experience is an asset.

Financial Services cloud experience is an asset (not a priority but appreciated if in addition to the above).

Soft Skills

Excellent communication skills to work across different business lines and with different users.

You must be comfortable with Capital Markets business partners and product owners while also being able to get technical with the team when necessary.

Best vs Average

Need to be able to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Strong candidates would currently be working in Salesforce and have a variety experience with financial industry workflows.

Degrees or Certifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

Salesforce Certifications - Salesforce Developer / Consultant / Architect are required (please include link in submission).

Structure and Format

1st round : Video interview, panel discussion (technical and behavioral), 45-60 mins. Potential live coding assessment.

2nd round : Interview with Director (as needed), 30 mins.
