This Retail Cashier/Sales Associate Job Is For You, If You Enjoy

• Helping others, understanding a customer’s needs, and providing an amazing customer service experience and assisting your team with general stock duties such as picking orders and pricing product
• Providing flexibility to work any shift, any day of the week, including weekends & holidays
• Working a Part‑time schedule
• Working at the Toronto Pearson International Airport
• Acknowledging and greeting customers
• Communicating effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management
• Knowing basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of product and being able to answer customer questions about the entire store
• Effectively operating a cash register
• Following all company policies, cash handling policies, and special store loss prevention procedures
• Communicating pricing, out‑of‑date and inventory issues with management
• Protecting all company assets, stocking merchandise in stores and backrooms
• Isolating, sorting, and organizing all damaged and outdated products and returns and informing management of any out‑of‑stock situations
• Helping maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise, and trash removal
• Placing stock orders, receiving freight, loading, and unloading trucks
• Providing ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor
• Assisting in inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances
• Performing related work as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse personalities
• Ability to multi‑task
• Being able to lift 40‑60 pounds
• Ability to work in an environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold
• Good time‑management skills and problem‑solving abilities
