Heavy Duty Technician Recreational Vehicles
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team specializing in Motorhome repairs and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of heavy-duty mechanics, diagnostics, and trouble shooting techniques, ensuring our clients' Motorhomes are in optimal condition for travel.
This position will also involve light RV repairs and fifth-wheel hitch installations.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on Motorhome engines, transmissions, brakes, and other heavy-duty systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Replace or repair worn or damaged parts, such as axels, shocks, and electrical components.
- Perform light RV repairs, including plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance issues.
- Install fifth-wheel hitches and ensure proper alignment and safety
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop.
- Stay undated on industry trends and advancements in Motorhome and RV technology.
Compensation
$35.00 to $45.00 hourly
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Red Seal ( Required )
- Must have own tools ( required tool list will be provided )
- Valid Class 1 license with airbrake endorsement
