Data Technician, Customer Accounts

TEMPORARY MANDATE OF 1 YEAR

Under the supervision of the Accounts Receivable-Commercial team leader, the position holder is responsible for recording and maintaining customer data as well as responding to various requests related to accounts receivable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the PCI compliance and payment centralization project.
• Process credit card payment requests (Moneris online vault).
• Manage the general email inbox of the accounts receivable department.
• Enter and maintain data related to customer accounts (opening new accounts and making changes to existing accounts).
• Perform support tasks for the accounts receivable and credit department (sending copy of invoice, responding to various customer requests).
• Work in collaboration with collection technicians and team leaders for any specific requests and other tasks related to the department.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Education

College diploma or vocational diploma in administration or accounting.

Experience

At least two (2) years of experience in a similar position.

Knowledge and Skills :

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good sense of organization and teamwork.
• Ability to handle a large volume, prioritize tasks, and follow up.
• Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
• Attention to detail, rigor, autonomy.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of AS400 an asset.

Language Criteria :

Bilingualism (French and English).
