Main Responsibilities
Ensures the accuracy of the SAP perpetual inventory system and keeps it in balance with the systems of third‑party logistics partners.Manages the stock levels at the Accuristix Brampton location and McKesson Distribution Partners (MDP) regional distribution centers by reviewing forecast accuracy data and adjusting inventory levels accordingly.Ensures optimal stock levels are maintained across all locations for products under all business units.Reviews, maintains and adjusts APO forecast in conjunction with business needs and market trends.Manages an effective ongoing cycle counting and an annual full inventory count program with the 3PL partners.Reviews business plans and utilizes modeling techniques to set inventory levels; determines the impact of inventory control issues on service levels.Identifies trends and opportunities, assesses risks and makes recommendations to develop inventory‑related contingency plans.Establishes policies and procedures necessary to ensure inventory performance targets are achieved.Works closely with internal functions (Customer Service, Marketing, QA) to ensure items are in stock at all locations.Reduces inventory holding and scrap / write‑off costs by implementing control procedures and maintaining policies / procedures to manage inventory flow.Manages monthly and quarterly KPIs as determined by the company ISO procedures or by the department’s internal measures.Identifies and reconciles out‑of‑balance items, determines causes for discrepancies and adjusts stock accordingly in SAP.Works independently to develop strategies to ensure proper levels of inventory and accurate forecast.Makes professional judgments based on industry standards and best practices.Ensures timely communication of complaints to the Quality department and adverse drug reactions to the Vigilance department as per Standard Operating Procedures.Qualifications
Minimum college diploma in Business Operations or equivalent experience.Enrollment in a professional designation program (e.g., APICS or SCMA) is an asset.Two to four years of experience in an inventory management or accounting environment required.Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP (MM, SD, WM, APO) required.Flexibility and adaptability to fulfill business needs.The pay range for this role is : $75,000 - $82,000 .
