Sr Technical Project Manager, Banking Client
Hybrid, 4 days per week.
Experience : 8-10 years.
Location : Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Salary : CA$90.00‑CA$100.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management activities for IT platform rollouts, from initiation through delivery and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations across functional teams (e.g., IT, operations, business, support).
- Drive issue resolution by identifying blockers early, coordinating solutions with relevant teams, and escalating as needed.
- Proactively manage risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain risk logs.
- Prepare and deliver concise project updates and status reports.
- Facilitate regular team stand‑ups, steering committee meetings, and checkpoint reviews.
- Ensure project governance and documentation are in place and followed.
- Excellent in English and can communicate with EMEA / NA teams.
- Knowledge of project management tool Jira for requirement & test management, and PPT / Excel skills.
- Can work during the time zone in Europe and the US.
Additional Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in IT platform implementations or rollouts.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.Proven experience reporting to management and navigating complex organizational environments.Solid understanding of risk and issue management practices.PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.Seniority Level
