What YOU Will Do
- Supervise projects at a strategic level and implement processes and strategies, secure their budgets, maximize their profitability and ensure client satisfaction;
- Support your project management teams to develop and drive the project planning and execution ensuring that objectives and contractual requirements are met;
- Put your problem-solving skills to work by initiating and promoting innovative methods that will increase effectiveness and efficiency to ensure project excellence and productivity;
- Utilize your experience in trade partner selection and coordination of their activities;
- Apply your financial management experience to plan, manage and respect project budgets;
- Share your knowledge and be a role model through mentorship opportunities with project team members;
- Keep the lines of communication open regarding project status and updates;
- Be an expert in risk management to ensure mitigation plans are in place to eliminate or reduce their impact on the project;
- Demonstrate leadership and demand excellence in Health & Safety, Quality and
- Environmental management;
- Celebrate project success and completion and be a key member of the project wrap-up process.
What YOU Will Bring
- 10+ years’ experience in the civil construction industry with diversified experience in large & complex infrastructure work such as bridges, large underground utilities, water & wastewater treatment plants, concrete work, deep foundations etc;
- University Degree / Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience;
- A proven track record of project leadership, success and team collaboration;
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues to bring the project to successful completion;
- Strong knowledge of construction and project management;
- Role model status for health and safety as well as quality;
- Good computer skills and previous experience with scheduling software;
- In depth knowledge of the BC market.

The expected salary range for this opportunityis $165,000 - $223,000. Please note that salaries may vary depending on thecandidate’s experience and geographical location.
Listed compensationis exclusive of bonus and in addition to our extensive employeebenefits program which is listed above.
