:What will you work on?Liaising internally with SMEs, executives, creative development, visual development, and toy-for-entertainment teams, and externally with agents, showrunners, writers, and clients to ensure the day-to-day organization and tracking of key development deliverables.
Responsibilities include initiating and booking meetings with key creatives, taking detailed meeting notes, managing and collecting start-up paperwork, and distributing NDAs and other support materials as needed.
Distributing scripts and other creative support documents as required.
Under supervision, breaking down scripts; proofreading; and inputting, evaluating, and tracking scripts and properties in development.
Tracking and maintaining script schedules for all series and projects in development.
Managing asset organization for development projects, including filing materials within internal systems and recording visual assets in an ongoing art history / visual reference deck.
Filing, logging, and tracking submissions and acquisitions for review; creating agendas for submission review discussions with the Director and Development Executive; and flagging projects requiring follow-up or response.
Updating departmental presentations on a monthly basis to reflect the latest visual development assets and ensure written creative updates accurately represent current project status.
Handling accounts and expenses related to development projects, including resolving issues with oversight from the Line Producer.
Providing general support to the Development team, including but not limited to script/creative, visual development, departmental presentations, and toy-for-entertainment teams.
Experience in animated children’s television series productions, in a production assistant or production coordinator role.
A high level of proficiency in Word, MS Outlook, Final Draft, Power Point and Excel.
Must have initiative, flexibility, adaptability, common sense, resourcefulness and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and alone; to identify issues, troubleshoot, ask questions, and propose solutions.
Ability to prioritize and handle last minute changes in a positive and professional manner.
Enthusiastic and passionate about storytelling and a love for children’s animation.
